The Ultimarc J-Stik ball top arcade joystick is similar to the type used in most Japanese cabinets such as the Sega Naomi and other modern cabs. This joystick has a light spring pressure for really fast movements. Our version has easy 4-8 way switching added.
The travel on this joystick is longer (same as Happ super) and another nice feature is the long switch actuators, which allow exact "tuning" of the switch sensitivity with careful use of long-nosed pliers.
This joystick can operate in 8-way or true 4-way mode by rotating the restrictor. The Ultimarc J-Stik ball top arcade joystick design comprises retaining springs which apply adjustable pressure to hold the restrictor plate in place.
PLEASE NOTE:
All the accessories for our Ultrastik 360 (ball top handles, restrictors and long handles) will fit these joysticks.
Note these are not the same as the standard Sanwa stick as ours have 4-8 way switching without the use of tools.

Great 4-8 way Joysticks
These are really nice joysticks that can be played 4 way or 8 way with just a quick twist on the restrictor gate under the control panel.
Mine are mounted using 18mm wood and the handle is a little short, but you can get extenders on the site that add 1.5cm, which makes them perfect length.
I would definitely recommend these sticks.
