COVID-19

Arcade World UK are operating as normal, as far as processing online orders and shipping. We are taking the appropriate measures to protect our staff and customers against the spread of the Coronavirus and also asking staff in our warehouse to comply with social distancing guidelines throughout the working day.

We have been informed by certain carriers, that they are not guaranteeing delivery timeframes at the moment, so please be aware that whilst we can process orders and ship, if a customer chooses courier shipping options, such as Parcelforce or DHL, there is no guarantee for the day we dispatch or when the carriers deliver during this difficult period.

We will let you know as soon as there are any changes to our operations in light of government advice.

We can ship most of our products to virtually any address in the world, however, there are some restrictions on certain products which cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at the time of order, based on weight of items in your shopping cart and destination.

To estimate shipping costs, follow the steps below.
1 - Add items to cart.
2 - Click the shopping cart logo.
3 - Click the "Estimate Shipping" button.
4 - Enter the required details.
5 - Click the "Estimate Shipping" button again and you will be presented with all available shipping options.

International Shipping Information:
Shipping to EU - Brexit (1st January 2021)
Prior to 1st January 2021, we were required to charge all customers in the EU the VAT (sales tax) at the rate of 20% From 1st January 2021, we no longer charge customers in the EU this sales tax, as our terms of trade are DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) You as the customer will be required to pay this sales tax (the relevant rate of VAT in your country) and any relevant import duties/admin fees to the customs authorities in your country when your parcel arrives and prior to your local postal service or courier completing the delivery. The customer is responsible for paying any relevant fees to accept their parcel, as we do not charge any of these fees at the time of order.
You must accept our terms of trade at the time of order, to acknowledge you have read this information.

Customers in the EU
Our terms of trade are DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid)
We do not charge the VAT (Value Added Tax or Sales Tax) to customers in the EU at the time of order, so you will be responsible for paying the relevant VAT and any import duties/admin fees to your local customs authority when your parcel arrives in your country.Your local customs authority should contact you when they have cleared your parcel through customs in your country and will let you know the amount to pay. The customer is responsible for paying any relevant fees to accept their parcel, as we do not charge any of these fees at the time of order.
To complete your order, you must confirm you have read our terms and tick the box to confirm.

Customers - Rest of the World
Our terms of trade are DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid)
If you are based outside of the EU (Rest of the World) there is no VAT (Value Added Tax/Sales Tax) to pay but you will be responsible for paying any relevant import duties/admin fees for your parcel when it arrives in your country. Your local customs authority should contact you when they have cleared your parcel through customs in your country and will let you know the amount to pay. The customer is responsible for paying any relevant fees to accept their parcel, as we do not charge any of these fees at the time of order.
To complete your order, you must confirm you have read our terms and tick the box to confirm.

 

Customs Charges/Delays
Goods ordered from outside the UK will be subject to import duties and taxes, 
which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance will be payable by you, as our terms of trade are DDU (Delivery Duties Unpaid) as mentioned above. We recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information regarding importation taxes/duties that will be applicable to your online order. You will be the importer of record and responsible for any import VAT and duties that are chargeable for receiving your order. In addition, any charges for import clearance/admin fees will be payable by you, the customer. We can not advise on how much you can expect to pay for import duties. It is accepted by you that Arcade World UK has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance.

Marking Goods As Gift Or Declaring Low Value
We cannot mark items as a gift or declare a lower value. All parcels shipped outside of the UK require either accompanying digital customs data OR a commercial invoice attached to the outside of the box declaring the correct goods description and value. This is required by law and we will not mark items as a gift or declare a lower value, so please do not ask us to do this.

This is ideal for those customers who are happy to wait a little longer for delivery.
Delivery times do NOT include Bank Holidays, weekends or Public Holidays.

Royal Mail (Approx. 2-3 Days):
This is a Royal Mail postal service with a 2-3 day delivery time.
Delivery times do NOT include Bank Holidays, weekends or Public Holidays.

Royal Mail Tracked (Approx. 4-5 Days):

This is ideal for those customers who are happy to wait a little longer for delivery.
Customers are notified by SMS* (Text Message) and email.

DHL Express Courier:

DHL Parcel By 12:00 Noon:

DHL Parcel Saturday Delivery:

The Parcelforce Saturday delivery option is ideal for customers who are not available Mon - Fri.
If the Saturday Courier option is selected, we will dispatch on the Friday after you place your order.
The cut off time for same day dispatch for the Saturday Courier option is 12:00 Noon on a Friday.
Any orders placed and received after 12:00 Noon on a Friday, will be dispatched on the following Friday.

 

International Delivery Options
Royal Mail Airmail - No Tracking:
This is a standard airmail postal service with NO tracking for orders shipping outside of the UK (Lightweight parcels, less than 1kg). There is no tracking for this cheaper airmail shipping option and this service is ideal for those customers looking for a lower cost shipping option and are happy to wait for their order to arrive. Transit times can vary, depending on various factors such as how quickly postal services are operating in each country and customs clearance processing for relevant countries.
Please Note: There is no tracking for this cheaper airmail service and customers in certain countries should be prepared to allow enough time for their order to arrive when shipped with this service. On average, estimated transit times can be anywhere from 2-6 weeks, depending on country and the factors mentioned above.

Royal Mail Airmail - With Tracking:

This is a priority airmail postal service WITH tracking for orders shipping outside of the UK (Maximum parcel weight for this service is 2Kgs). A tracking number is provided for peace of mind. Transit times can vary, depending on various factors such as how quickly postal services are operating in each country and customs clearance processing for relevant countries as mentioned in the above Royal Mail Airmail - No Tracking information.

Hermes Economy Courier: (Europe)

This delivery option is a standard economy courier service for countries in Europe with a cheap price and is quicker than the postal service transit times (Royal Mail)
The average transit time is approx 1 week and is ideal for those customers that are happy to wait a few days for their order.

This service has real time tracking for peace of mind.
