Description

The AWUK 12V wedge base RGB LED is suitable for use with a range of illuminated buttons. This LED has a 10mm wedge base housing, so will fit most bulb holders for illuminated buttons. Once 12V power is provided to this RGB LED, the colour cycles through red, green and blue. This 12V RGB LED is ideally suited for use in white illuminated buttons, as these will give the best RGB effect. These 12V RGB LEDs are ideal if you want to give your commercial/academic/arcade project the wow factor!

Please view the product video below to see the illumination in action.

*Please Note:
This RGB LED connects in the same way as a single colour LED and NOT as 3 seperate colour connections.

Intended Use - Suitability:
These RGB LEDs are ideal for use when you just want to simply connect to a 12V power source and have them permanently changing colour from red to green to blue. This method does not require any extra hardware to have the colour changing illumination, so is a great way to save money, instead of having to buy the PAC64 or IPAC Ultimate PCBs. These single RGB LEDs can NOT be set up for fading or flashing sequences.

If your project requires fading or flashing sequences, please refer to our other RGB buttons and PacLED64 or I-PAC Ultimate, as these are more suitable for this purpose.

LED Connection:
To illuminate this RGB LED you will need a 12V power source. The 12V power can be taken from a spare molex connector on a PC power supply. The black wire is ground and the yellow wire is 12V.
