Does the job, however plug plastic needed trimming/sanding for Venom PS3/PS4 stick
Bought these for my Venom stick and the plastic part of the plug side faces needed cutting down. This was because it was way too tight for the socket on the Venom's control board. A little trimming/sanding down, particularly on the two raised insertion arrows, fixed the problem. Plugging it on to the Sanwa JLF was also very tight. I had to clear the plastic mould flash with a pin. Everything else I got from Arcade World has been excellent, however even though these cables do work the plugs are a bit naff. Still, no soldering and they're extremely unlikely to work lose by accident so that's good.

solder free custom joystick making, what's not to love?!
These cables are essential if you want to not mess about with soldering irons when customising arcade sticks like the PS4 Venom stick; as long as you make sure you fit the ribbon the right way up to the pins on the stick you can't really go wrong.

Does what you'd expect
A no fuss cable for those looking for wire up a Sanwa stick without having to do any soldering. I used the one I ordered to wire said stick up to a Venom PS3/4 stick. It should be noted that the cable option I got when I checked out the stick required soldering, meaning I had to go back and buy the correct cable (the reviewed product) separately. This is really my own fault for not doing my homework but Arcade World should offer the option (and an explanation) for both types of cable for customers checking out sticks. Two points: i, Arcade World has a cheap 48 hour delivery option, which easily bests China-based eBay/Amazon sellers that take 3-4 weeks to reach you. ii. I ordered a full set of buttons and a stick from Arcade World which was packaged immaculately. The same amount of packing used for that shipment was used for these two puny cables I ordered. Serious overkill (seriously, an envelope will do...) but something that impressed me.
