Looks great, feels cheap!
I bought 2 of these to use as main game buttons but unfortunately they don't feel as good as they look so I had to relegate them to side/system buttons. When the buttons are pressed they have a lot of travel and have quite a bit of resistance from the spring inside, making rapid button presses difficult. They are noisy and feel as if they couldn't handle hours of intense button mashing. This is in comparison to the IL Concave PSL-L Translucent Arcade Buttons which I am using as main buttons alongside these 2 Illuminated Ultimarc buttons. Even replacing the stock Ultimarc microswitches with DX44 Cherry microswitches couldn't redeem this push button. The stock Ultimarc microswitches are horrible, they have a hard click (nothing like Omron switches) which feels cheap compared to the soft click of Cherry microswitches. Also the spring inside one of the buttons became misaligned after removing and attaching the bulb holder to the main body. It's something you'd expect to see happening from a cheap button not a button made by Ultimarc. The only thing surprisingly good about these buttons are when they are illuminated. The light fills the entire button without blind spots and is quite bright. They look very good and can really make your joystick/cp look great. But overall, I wouldn't recommend these buttons for the price they cost, they are over-priced and I would recommend spending that money on a button which feels as good as it looks. 2 and a half stars.
