Product Description
The Seimitsu LS-56-01 joystick is very similar to the LS-56 model. This model of the joystick has its microswitches soldered to a PCB and connects via a 5-pin cable.

SEIMITSU LS-56-01
This fitted perfectly into my hori RAP TEKKEN 7 edition. Out of all the joysticks I have used this my favourite. It's very positive and with a little bit of resistance compared to a typical sanwa JLF. Great upgrade from the standard hyabusa stick that comes in the hori rap. It did NOT need an adapter plate or any kind.

Great replacement stick
I was looking to replace the stick for my saturn HSS-0136. This one being a direct fit it is perfect. Great service and shipment from ArcadeworldUK. THanks!

Great japanese stick, short throw, top quality.
This stick is top quality, very tightly built. It is relatively stiff and has a shorter throw (compared to Sanwa/Hori). If you like the shorter throw, I suggest you try the kowal short throw mod as well to adjust to your liking. Feels much faster than Hori/Sanwa due to it's smaller actuation zone.

Perfect balance of size, weight, price, performance and quality
I was looking for a compact joystick for my custom made arcade quality Atari/Commodore controller on a budget, and after trying the Sanwa JLF (compact but too sloppy with too much travel) and Seimitsu LS-32-01-SC (stiffer spring but slightly bulkier and harder to work with in a tight space), I decided to try one last time with the Seimitsu LS-56-01... and the third time turned out to be the charm. If you're used to slightly tighter joysticks like a Suzo 500 or an IL Eurostick, then this may be a good alternative if you're short on space. This is Seimitsu's best joystick in my opinion, as it has a perfect balance of size, weight (both in terms of mass and spring stiffness - very similar to a Suzo Competition Pro joystick from the 1980s), price, performance (it's almost impossible to actuate opposite directions when releasing the stick and engaging the microswitches requires deliberate precision) and quality. Just be sure to order the 5-pin wiring harness just to be sure. NB: I recommend getting both the standard VF and the MS mounting plates (the former is useful for tight spaces, while the latter is VERY close to the Sanwa JLF-P1 plate in terms of dimensions, although you might need some slightly smaller screws to secure the joystick in place, and its compact size means installing nuts will be much easier). If you are connecting a Seimitsu joystick equipped with a PCB (including this one) to a Sanwa wiring harness (and vice versa), then be sure to rotate the wiring harness by 180 degrees (flip it upside down) to connect it to the joystick. Otherwise, if you are using a Seimitsu stick on a Seimitsu harness (and a Sanwa stick on a Sanwa harness), then just connect it upright and normally.

Best seimitsu stick imo
Probably the best seimitsu stick i've tried, I would advise to buy the short throw mod with this stick.
