This 40mm illuminated arcade button features a low profile black body and is available in a choice of colours. This button can be used for various commercial and academic projects, including museum, exhibition, photo booth and interactive displays or for use in arcade machine projects. This low profile 40mm arcade button comes complete with fixing ring, spacer and bulb holder and mounts in a 24mm to 28mm mounting hole.
This button is available to order as "Button only" (No microswitch or LED included) OR "With standard microswitch & budget 12V LED included"

Adding your own artwork or text:
The lens on this button can easily be removed, should you wish to put your own artwork or text underneath the lens cap. These are normally referred to as “legends” and you can easily print your own legend on a PC printer and customise the button for your own requirements.

This button requires crimped wires for microswitch connection (Microswitches sold separately)
1 wire for ground connection (CO) and 1 wire for signal connection (NO).
This button requires 6.3 mm crimped wires for connecting to the terminals on the bulb holder if you plan on using LEDs (LEDs sold separately).
1 wire for the positive connection and 1 wire for the negative connection

Wires & Cables
You can fit these in a 24/28mm hole, but have to use the provided spacer, which makes the buttons stick out about 1cm from the control panel. To fit these so the bezel is flush with the control panel, you need 40mm holes. You will also need to cut off a small notch of plastic from the button housing, or cut a matching notch in your control panel holes. Also, the buttons feel a bit clunky with cheap micro switches, so I recommend you spend a couple of quid extra, and get good quality ones.
Used on my virtual pinball project. Looks very nice and makes a real pinball effect. A little remark, it is not like the other buttons I ordered (lack of chrome aspect). But still OK
